With this little tool you can quickly calculate the worth of a given amount of Minecoins to USD, and the other way around. How Does This Calculator Work?

USD to Minecoins calculator tool.
This calculator takes into account all the bulk discounts, and its results are based on the best price per one Minecoin for a certain amount of coins.

This simple calculator is designed to give you accurate conversions based on the current pricing tiers of Minecoins. The bulk discounts you get when purchasing larger Minecoin packages are counted in.

The tool checks the number of Minecoins or USD you input, then calculates the output based on the appropriate price bracket. For example, if you input 1,600 Minecoins, it will calculate the price based on the larger $9.99 package rather than the $1.99 package, showing you the option based on the best possible price per one Minecoin.

Keep in mind that while the calculator will give you the correct output values, the game itself doesn’t allow you to buy exact numbers of Minecoins outside of the fixed value packs. As you can only buy the coins in preset packages, if you’re checking the price for, say, 7,064 Minecoins, the calculation of the actual value of the coins will be accurate, but to buy this exact amount of the in-game currency you’ll need to pick one of the available bundles in the store, which in this case would be the 8800 coins bundle for $49.99.

Also, although the differences aren’t usually that large, remember that the Minecoin prices in certain countries and regions of the world may vary.

Are Minecoins Really Worth It?

Minecraft Marketplace front page.
Both on the Minecraft Marketplace and on third-party sites, there are many add-ons available completely for free.

As with all “premium” in-game currencies, you might be wondering whether or not purchasing Minecoins is really a thing you want to do.

As Minecoins are used for purchasing cosmetic items, maps, texture packs and simple add-ons which often can be sourced from many different places online, they are not as useful as they may seem. Because believe it or not, Minecraft Bedrock Edition also has a ton of free downloadable content apart from the packs hidden behind the Marketplace microtransations.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the Java Edition doesn’t have microtransactions at all having all the content mentioned above available for free straight from the independent creators, which makes the sheer existance of Minecoins seem like a cash-grab aimed at people who for any reason choose to go with the Bedrock Edition.

My personal point of view is: Minecoins aren’t really worth spending your money on, as all they can give you is either cosmetics or content that in most cases has free equivalents that are very easy to get. Hope that was helpful to you!
