Tom Smigla – Founder & Chief Editor
Hey there! I’m Tom Smigla, the founder of TechTactician.com. My journey with technology started as a hobby and quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. With years of experience as a professional hardware and software reviewer, I’ve had the pleasure (and sometimes frustration) of getting my hands on the latest tech gizmos and gadgets. Alongside my tech adventures, I’m also a musician and a full-time stock photographer, which certainly does keep life interesting!
I hold a master’s degree in Cultural Studies with a major in Cyber Culture and Media having studied for five fruitful years on the Ignatianum University in Krakow. This background gives me a unique perspective on how technology shapes our world and how we interact with it. I’m also the creator of our signature “Consumer Usability Benchmark Methodology”, which ensures our reviews are not just thorough, but also truly reflective of real-world use.
When I’m not buried in the latest tech, you can find me managing my YouTube channel, TechAntics, or tinkering with local AI projects. My goal is to make TechTactician.com your go-to source for honest, in-depth reviews and practical guides that anyone can understand—whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out. I’m thrilled to share this journey with you!
