Here is how to make these viral ASMR fruit-cutting videos using Veo 3 without a Google AI subscription. We will use a tool called DeeVid AI, which lets you quickly create Veo 3 videos through an easy to use interface, with image-to-video capabilities and a limited free trial.

The Tool We Are Going To Use – DeeVid AI

DeeVid AI is one of the websites that offer AI video and image generation services, and can grant you easy access to Veo 3 outside of the Google ecosystem.
I chose this one both because it currently offers a really reasonable price for one video even at the lowest subscription tier, and because of its free trial which at the time of writing this article allows you to generate one Veo 3 video without paying a dime.
Of course, this is not the only way you can access Veo 3 without going for the Google AI subscription. There are quite a few other options which you can explore to follow through with this tutorial.
Veo 3 Fruit Cutting Prompts – With Video Examples
I will gladly spare you from seeing the same three prompts that circulate the internet and instead provide you with three of my tested variations on the ASMR fruit cutting extravaganza, along with the exact Veo 3 videos that I generated using DeeVid AI. First results only, no cherry-picking.
Feel free to bookmark this page and then come back to use these prompts for your new creations!
Here is our main prompt (replace the subject in bold as needed):
A realistic 4k ASMR video of a human hand slicing a detailed glass sculpture of a red strawberry on a wooden cutting board, using a knife. The object resembles glossy blown glass. High quality close-up take with shallow depth of field and professional cinematic lighting. The knife moves smoothly making two satisfying cuts one after another, creating 2 clean and evenly spaced slices. The movements are precise and crisp, with realistic slicing sound and natural motion. No background distractions, professional ASMR videos recording style.
And here is the result:
An alternative variant with different, less detailed description style:
A realistic high quality 4k ASMR video of a human hand holding a knife slicing a detailed glass sculpture of a single melon slice on a wooden cutting board. High quality close-up take, shallow depth of field, professional studio lighting. Slow and smooth precise knife movement, two satisfying cuts creating 2 satisfying slices. Realistic slicing sounds and natural motion. No background distractions and professional ASMR videos recording style in both video and audio.
And a simplified, minimalistic version of the previous prompt, giving a little bit more creative freedom to the model:
A realistic high quality 4k professional ASMR video of a human hand holding a knife slicing a detailed glass sculpture of a lemon on a wooden cutting board. Close-up take, creating two separate slices, precise realistic cutting sounds, no background distractions.
I would also highly encourage you to experiment with your own prompts, as Veo 3 is really easy to guide towards a desired result even without using overly detailed and verbose text inputs.
You can also consider automatically generating multiple variations of your prompts using large language models, whether they are publicly available online like ChatGPT or Gemini, or using private, locally hosted ones.
Creating Your First ASMR Fruit Cutting Video

As we will be using DeeVid AI to generate our very first video, we are going to need a DeeVid AI account. You can sign up for a free trial account right here.
Once you’re in, select the “Text to Video” option on the left side of the interface, type or paste your video prompt, choose the “Master V2.0” model (which uses Veo 3 with sound output), and finally press the “Create” button.
Note that without the “Pro” subscription plan, you can only create 720p videos, and the 1080p option is locked away. No worries though, you can upscale the video later on using video editing software of your choice.
Using a modified version of one of the prompts listed below, I was able to get a pretty good result on my very first attempt. Take a look for yourself:
Aside from the second cut, which comes in at a somewhat unexpected spot, the video looks (and sounds) very solid. When creating your first video feel free to use any of the prompts supplied above!
The Image to Video Mode

Veo 3 also offers an image to video functionality, and while it can be hit and miss with some imported pictures, it tends to work rather good for bringing life to simpler scenes. And of course, it also generates an audio track alongside the video output.
My first experience with the image to video feature was importing one of the stock photos from my own portfolio (an image of an old video camera), and supplying the generator with the following prompt:
A realistic high quality 4k ASMR video of a human hand holding a knife slicing a cake video camera in half, revealing that its insides are made out of cake. No cuts, all filmed in one take. High quality close-up, professional studio lighting. Slow and smooth precise knife movement, one satisfying cut creating 2 slices. Realistic slicing sounds and natural motion. No background distractions and professional ASMR videos recording style.
In this case, the prompt, even after three separate content changes and tweaks didn’t yield a video of the camcorder being cut in half, but rather of a quick video cut introducing the rather overexposed cake into the frame. Let’s move on to the second example.
In this case, I used a simpler picture, and as an experiment I used a plain and simple prompt which you would usually stray away from, giving a lot of freedom to the model. The prompt was simply:
Putting a coin into the coin slot.
Although the coin slot seems to be malfunctioning and the coin is what I can only describe as an approximation of every euro coin ever produced (to be fair, I didn’t specify the currency), the video is of high quality, and both the anatomy of the hand and fingers, as well as the reflections on the slot, are very much on point.
What Now? – How Many Videos Can You Make?
With the free DeeVid AI trial and 20 credits, you can create only one Veo 3 video with sound, which will include a watermark, be visible in the website’s public community feed, and be limited to the 720p resolution.
Luckily, at the time of writing this article you can create 10 more videos for only $14, thanks to the lowest subscription tier which grants you 200 more credits to use.
You can grab the deal while it’s still available right here just as I did to write this very article and provide you with the examples you can see above.
If you’re interested in some more alternatives to DeeVid AI and direct Google Veo 3 subscription, you’re also in a right place, as I have already explored, tested and compiled most of these for you.
Veo 3 vs. Veo 2 – Same Prompts Comparison

Veo 3 is great and all, but Veo 2 is not only cheaper – it’s also available for free in the Google AI Studio app. So, you might ask, why not use Veo 2 instead?
First of all, Veo 2 has no sound generation capabilities. That alone makes it pretty hard to use for making AI ASMR videos without relying on other tools to record the soundtrack.
Second of all, the quality of Veo 2 videos, while still pretty high in comparison to other available video generation models like Hailuo AI and Sora, can be noticeably lower when it comes to more complex prompts, more complicated scenes, object interactions, and physics simulations.
Third, while Veo 2 lets you generate free videos, it also has a free video quota, which usually lets you make no more than a few videos a day.

You can see and judge for yourself. Take a look at these three examples generated with the help of Veo 2 in Google AI Studio using the very same prompts provided few paragraphs above (in that exact order). No cherry-picking, just the very first results I got.
The first prompt:
The second:
And the third one:
As you can see, while the results are similar in terms of general image quality, the object physics can be way off at times. The lack of generated soundtrack also makes the Veo 2 clips a little bit less usable if you need a ready-made AI ASMR clip without having to provide the audio yourself. That’s just how it is.
So, You Have Some Alternatives — Here They Are
Although as of the time of writing this article DeeVid AI offers one of the lowest prices per one Veo 3 video from among many different third-party services, there are also a few different places you can go to create AI videos with sound for a reasonable price.
A few of these include Leonardo.ai, Freepik and Pollo.ai. You can read much more about these three and some other ones here: Websites That Let You Access Veo 3 Without Google AI Subscription. Until next time!
